Celeb Bridesmaid Fashion

The most recent celebrity weddings have garnered attention not only because of their fame but also for their unique choices in bridesmaid attire.  Here are a few examples of celebrity weddings and the bridesmaids who were dressed to impress.

1) Kim Kardashian poses with her four bridesmaids and sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and Khloe (Kardashian) Odom.  Each bridesmaid is wearing identical white, strapless gowns flaring at the knee, while Kim is in a traditional white, cinderella-like wedding gown.  This is a unique choice in that the bride and her bridesmaids are all dressed in white.  Although her marriage with Kris Humphries did not last very long, Kim Kardashian and her bridesmaids did look stunning for the event.

2) Miranda Lambert plays up her country girl roots as she and her bridesmaids flaunt their cowboy boots and paisley dresses.  No two bridesmaids are wearing the same dress or boots and instead of traditional long gowns, the bride and bridesmaids are all wearing knee-length dresses in order to show off their boots.

3) Bride Molly Sims also chooses to have her bridesmaids wear different styles of dresses while sticking with a nude, beige and black color scheme.  What's more interesting is that in this photo the bridesmaids almost mirror each other, except for the one wearing the print dress who stands mirroring two bridesmaids in very similar dresses.  This them of differently styled dresses for bridesmaids is becoming extremely popular as it allows for the bridesmaids to wear a style or print that suits their personality.

4)  Perhaps the biggest wedding of the century, Kate Middleton and her sister and bridesmaid Pippa Middleton take the cake for best and most classically dressed duos.  This event called for a more conservative and timeless approach to the bride and bridesmaid attire as they are both elegantly dressed in white Alexander McQueen gowns.

Whether your bride chooses a traditional or more modern approach to the bridesmaid attire, remember one thing: it's her decision.  Yes, you can offer your advice, but at the end of the day she alone will make the call.  No matter how you may feel about what she chooses for you to wear, remember that this is her big day.  Embrace the style choice that she decides and wear your dress with pride and confidence.
